Hope in a Suitcase
Manly Wynnum Mothers’ Union is collecting items to donate to Hope in a Suitcase, a non-profit organisation providing children entering foster care or out-of-home care with suitcases filled with new essential and comfort items. These suitcases of new essential items help these children feel valued, supported and embraced by the community during a difficult transition.
Everyone is invited to help the MU members collect 150 NEW items (in honour of this 150th year of Mothers’ Union) so please help us reach this target by bringing along to the next two Sunday services NEW items from the list below.
Everyone is also invited to our 22 September meeting, commencing at 10am at St Peter’s when we will have a guest speaker from Hope In A Suitcase to tell us more about the work they do.
