Enjoying the Winter Sun
Prior to our 10am service each week, we meet for a quick cuppa and chat on the verandah of Lota House. Come along and join us from 9.30am. Here we are enjoying the lovely warm winter sun.
Combined Service
Father Sam received encouraging feedback from many parishioners following our combined service with St Peter’s in June, expressing a desire for more opportunities to gather and worship as one community.
As part of an ongoing commitment to strengthening the relationship between St Paul’s and St Peter’s, the Wardens of both parishes and Father Sam have discussed plans for greater collaboration in ministry and mission. One wonderful outcome of these conversations has been the decision to hold combined worship services on any fifth Sundays.
Sunday 30 August is a fifth Sunday, so we will gather for a combined service at St Peter’s. A fundraising fellowship breakfast in support of the Anglican Board of Mission (ABM) will commence from 8am followed by the Holy Eucharist at 9am.
Father Sam comments that “these combined services provide a wonderful opportunity for fellowship, friendship, and shared worship as we grow together in Christ. I encourage all parishioners to participate enthusiastically and to warmly welcome one another as we gather as one faith community”.
