Car Boot Sale Cool
We had a very successful morning last Saturday at our penultimate stall at the Church of the Nazarene Car Boot sale in Carina. Our lovely plant lady Anise gave some more of her amazing bromeliads and other potted plants which with the best prices at the market attracted a lot of attention. Our sale of card and craft making materials gets a lot of interest and we were leading the pack in producing some Christmas themed good. Amanda and Marilyne showed the Christmas spirit in buckets!
Ailsa, Robyn and Seb did their amazing job of setting up and organising that is such a great gift to us. Spirits lifted by the visit of the People’s Warden and Manly Treasurer who went home with more plants than they anticipated.
We missed the caffeinated beverages of Chris and Isobel but made do with lots of stimulating conversation instead.
Some great community connections were made and over $500 raised.
